Gold Dust Recycled Glass Project:

Missoula, MT           04-03 to 2-05

For this project, we cast 160 glass blocks out of

Missoula's waste glass. The blocks were etched

by another artist and inlaid into the sidewalk in

front of the Gold Dust building on the North Side

of Missoula. The project was commishened by

Home WORD, a Montana non-profit.

 The Process:

1. Crush clear glass to be recycled.              2. Melt glass in furnace, 2100 degrees.

3. Scoop out liquid glass.                                        4. Pour into mold.

Portable Glass Studio Project: Hot since Nov, 2003 and going strong.

This is the perfect solution for glassblowers who love to travel and live to blow glass. It is a fully functioning  portable glass studio. We use the studio to demonstrate at various art galleries, craft shows, and private parties. We also use it to make work in places we find the most inspiring, in the woods, at the beach, in the desert, etc...
